 Current Projects Include:

  • At Home Back Home:
    US military personnel volunteered to serve our nation, the PAR Foundation is volunteering to serve those who served by offering free mental health counseling.  Addressing PTSD, family & personal adjustment and alcohol/drug issues to cope with military experiences is the goal of the volunteer clinical staff - readjusting to being confortable at home back home.

  • Tri-State Critical Incident Stress Management Team:
    Serving Tennessee, Georgia and Alabama, the team provides CISM services to emergency response agencies (law enforcement, fire, emergency medial, hospital ER, dispatch, etc.) business / industry, churches and communities upon request.

  • Tri-State Suicide Postvention Response Team:
    comprised of "survivors" of suicide (friends and family members of someone who has died by suicide) and mental health professionals who respond to homes, schools, churches, business/industry as requested.  All team members have completed three 2-day classes addressing crisis and suicide response.

  • Tri-State School Crisis Support Cooperative:
    Concerned school personnel, both active and retired interested in supporting a school or college/university in a time of crisis or disaster.  Responders will have completed a basic group of crisis response courses that will assist in focusing them in their supportive roles.  Travel is possible.

  • Magicians in Disaster Response
    Shelter living can be difficult and challenging at best.  Activities and entertainment by magicians can help pass the time and add healing stories to those displaced by crisis and disaster.

  • Civil Air Patrol Critical Incident Stress Management Team
    Assisting in the coordinating and provision of CISM administrative consultation concerning clinical direction and training at the national level.  Civil Air Patrol is the Auxillary of the United States Air Force - performing mission for America.

  • Educational seminars focusing on Disaster Mental Health service advocacy, provision, and management.
     
  • Veterinary Mental Health Services:
    Participation in and planning for mental health services associated with day-to-day veterinary practice and veterinary disaster response.

  • National Center for Crisis Management:
    Member of and participant organization
     
  • Southern Searchers:
    Specialized search and rescue team focusing on unique search tactics and skills.  Utilizing canines specially trained in tracking and cadaver for both land and water.  Mental health support services for friends and family members.

  • Other Project Requests are welcomed and will be reviewed for implementation as soon as possible.
